Using a mixed-methods (survey and interview) approach, the local government study engaged public employees in Carbon, Park, Stillwater, and Yellowstone (MT) Counties and attempted to address two central research questions:
How do local government officials across the disaster-impacted landscape conceptualize community recovery?
What do local government leaders believe is necessary to build future disaster and community resiliency?
